![]() Here we jump into the more serious stuff, rightĪll the drivers from ACC gave me the exact same advice and I think they are very right: don't focus too much on setups and drive instead! One of the fastest at the moment but really difficult car to drive as it is so much pitch sensitive (the aero changes a lot under braking/accelerating), not often easily predictable.įind what you like after long practice sessions! Their engine is right behind the driver so they are more reactive and usually well balanced. Can be a good choice as they are generally quite predictable They tend to understeer at corner entries, oversteer at the exit. Most of you will know this very well but just in case, some precisions. If you really, really need some suggestions, two cars are often mentioned for their ability to be easy to control while being still fast: the Aston and the Audi. So you're on your own journeyĪll cars can be quick. I've been looking intensively and asked around but no guide with an extensive car comparison seems to be online. ![]() You'll do 10/15 laps with each car with half tank and understand quickly that some cars are not made for you at all. Only after a couple of weeks when you feel more confident with the game overall, you can compare with other cars and have meaningful insights about which car you'll prefer. You'll need some time to understand how the aero works in the game, to adjust your FOV, etc. Pick a balanced track like Kyalami, Barcelona, maybe Brands Hatch for its downhill sections or Paul Ricard for the runoffs that make the practice safe. My advice would be just to first pick the car you want to drive for whatever reason. Everything is so different from one to another. Maybe it was just that I didn't drive with the GT3s on PCars for too long but I find the differences between cars much bigger in ACC. ![]() Of course, the first question will be for you to pick a car. (makes sense when you say so but not obvious immediately). So by default, do free practice sessions. In practice mode, you'll have the ability to try out how your car behaves on more or less long stints, especially in terms of tyre pressure and aero balance and that's how you'll race after. Hotlap is nice to set your fastest times on a track or to compare your level with other drivers but do not practice there! The main is reason is that some parameters are reset every lap on hotlap (like everything related to tyres and fuel as far as I remember). I've heard that the consoles don't have yet private lobbies online so you'll more or less have two choices to practice: hotlap and free practice. I'm neither an influencer nor an expert, certainly not an alien so take these as you like The info can be useful I guess for everybody with a mid/low tier 2 level and lower (based on last season's PCars 2 PS4 GT3 league). ACC works in a very different way than other sims and can be confusing at the beginning for a lot of drivers. G29 // try to be as exhaustive as possible, here are my noob pieces of advice to switch from PCars 2 to ACC. Ferrari GT3 // Panorama Circuit - Australia Lamborghini EVO GT3 // Ferrari GT3 // World Circuit - Italy You can either post a link to your stream or post the pictures in this thread and we will link them to the track below. ![]() We will try to keep a list in this opening thread for (car, wheel) setups, so please share your setups with us.
